Jesus came to destroy the works of the enemy, and the work of the cross is a finished work. We don't need to earn or pay, only receive. As believers we are not called to sit in survival mode and wait for the great escape. Instead Jesus gave us all authority, and the power of the resurrected Christ. His Kingdom is within us and He commissioned us to release the realities of heaven onto earth. The world needs a demonstration of God's power and love, and the saints are the ones that He calls to take it to the world. We are to take our light not only to the Church, but into the dark places!
